Tried the jerk chicken, delicious stuff. The Mac and cheese was great with a nice flavor that was not overwhelming. The rice and beans were amazing, I could eat that all day. The beef ribs have a great glaze on them, it's great because a lot of other places just slather BBQ sauce on their ribs and it taste terrible, not this place, the sauce is sticky, sweet and tangy! The sweet potatoes are also amazing. Great stuff! Hope to try the cornbread in the future. I love great cornbread and will update when I have tried it.

Hot, tasty food. The lamb shank came clean off the bone. Greens were delicious as well as the mac and cheese. I will go back to try the buttermilk chicken sandwich, or maybe the jerk chicken. Edit1, jerk chicken was very good as were the green beans. Edit 2. I continue to have great food here. Last week my co-workers and I came for lunch and everyone was very happy and will return for the great food. Today I had the best buttermilk fried chicken sandwich that I can remember. Sure beats fast food. Edit3. Fried green tomatoes are good. Edit4. New menu item Biryani is a great dish. A little spicy too.

I always look for the diamond in the rough when it comes to independent restaurants. This is it! Flavor is key and Executive Chef, Kevin has got the touch. On top of that, I look for value and also, it is spot on. This chef is intent on the quality of his food and delivers exceptional cuisine.

The smothered chicken and macaroni was GREAT. the beef steak has great flavor but a bit too much cilantro for my personal liking. Seasoned rice was light and fluffy and went well with both meals .Corn bread was a little crumbly almost fell apart but again good flavor. Sweet potatoes were cooked well but cabbage needs some live over all a good experience and I will return.
